Monroe's doctors decided to give her a blood transfusion tonight. It should make her feel lots better and breathe much easier. Can't wait to hang out with her tomorrow and hopefully have fewer alarms dinging! They tell us it's all totally normal for a preemie, but it's still hard and stressful when the alarms go off. We are so thankful they are keeping such a watchful eye on her and taking great care of her. She is such a precious addition to our lives!
If all goes well tomorrow it will be bath day. Jill and I are excited, even though Monroe may not be when the time comes, she doesn't love being messed with.
P.S. She is eating very well. It took 3 diapers to contain her today since she popped the entire time I was changing her! Hopefully as she burns fewer calories breathing she'll gain more weight and grow big and even stronger than she already is.
